Fergus Stewart Ewing was born in Glasgow in 1957 and educated at Loretto School and Glasgow University where he graduated with an LLB.

Sue Bruce took up the post of Chief Executive of the City of Edinburgh Council on January 1, 2011 having previously been Chief Executive at Aberdeen City Council and CEO at East Dunbartonshire Council. Sue began her local government career with Strathclyde Regional Council in 1976 spending the early part of her career in social and economic regeneration and then in the wider education field.

Paul Lucchese is co-author of the “Hydrogen, the post-oil Fuel?" book (Paul Lucchese, Edouard Freund, Technip Editions, 2012), Project Manager of French CEA, President of NERGHY - European Research Association on Hydrogen and Fuel Cell, Member of the board of JTI and Vice-Chair of AFHYPAC. He is the French representative and Executive Committee Member at the OECD/IEA Hydrogen Implementing Agreement, at the IPHE at the Exchange with NEDO (Japan) on Hydrogen collaboration programme. He is also part of the EU-LAC (European Union - Latin America) Renewable Group for Research and Innovation as well as a NATO Project Director For Science for Peace for Morocco and Mauritania. Other roles were Director of New Energy Technologies at CEA with budget of 80 million euros, 500 researchers with 100 patents and 100 publications. Paul is also a lecturer at University and was responsible for the technology transfer programme.

Mark Wilson, CEO, Intelligent Land Investments (Renewable Energy) Ltd.
Mark Wilson has over 10 years experience in the residential industry and has successfully launched several private equity funds in this sector. Since 2009, using the skills he and has team have in achieving planning gain he has diversified his business into the renewable energy industry.
Intelligent Land Investments (Renewable Energy) Ltd is the UK industry leader for medium wind development. They focus on creating planning gain for renewable energy projects from 225kw to 500kw in line with the government Feed in tariff subsidy.
